2008 Retro King Plexi 50 amp for sale.
2 channel 4 inputs (high & low)
High treble & normal channels
2 Volume, Treble, Mid, Bass and presence
Master Volume
2 Matched Svetlana EL34 power tubes
3 JJ 12AX7 preamp tubes
1 Solid state rectifier
Mercury Magnetics Tranny (it was a $155 upgrade)
Output Tranny has correct 3.4 k primary
4, 8 or 16 ohm selector
Two speaker outputs
Plexi panels
Original 50 watt Plexi specs
Sozo Caps (it was a $35 upgrade)
Aluminum chassis
Hand wired point to point (Teflon wire)
Baltic birch cabinet (black Levant Tolex)
I got his Gain stage mod which is an extra channel that was built to sound similar to Van Halen, and was $100. I also got an effects loop which was $150. Sounds incredible, and really nails a bunch of sounds. It's in great condition. Never gigged with it. No scratches or tears in tolex. The only reason I'm selling it is because I'm buying a Maz GT and need some extra cash to pay for it. It's serial number 38.
With all the upgrades, the head was $2135. I'll let it go for $1500!! and I'll pay for shipping.
