Retrofitting a reverb unit into an amp head

I have a 50watt plexi-style amp. It has the usual 4 inputs; 2 volumes with 2 inputs per volume. The first volume is bright, the second volume is dark. I never use the second volume/set of inputs. I was wondering if it would be possible to somehow convert that for use of a reverb. If a tank could be installed, the 2nd volume used to control the reverb. Then I could either plug into the first set of inputs for just straight amp, or the second set of inputs for reverb. Basically the way fender amps are set up.

Is any of this possible? If not, it's no big deal. I'm just looking for a way to get use of out the inputs I never use.

its possible if you install the rest of the circuitry that is needed for the reverb circuit but youd really have to rewire the amp to get it to work. probably not worth the hassle

you never jump your channels?

I used to jump the channels in my bluesbreaker, but I'm not as big of a fan of it with this one. It's not a big deal though, I'll probably just go the external unit route.

To add one, you would have to have probably at least another preamp tube, related circuitry, and add some controls for it. You could always do an add on kit like Weber sells as well. Best (easiest) bet though is something like the Danelectro Spring King, or an EHX Holy Grail.
