Reunification Special II - Need Nickel Covers

i have a late 80's/early 90's Epiphone Special II. i'm pretty sure it was from the first run because it has Gibson on the truss rod cover as they did at that time to announce the reunification of Gibson and Epiphone. (also no toggle switch plate as they did at that time).

anyways i'm looking for nickel covers to cover the stock Epiphone pickups.

i called Epiphone directly and they suggested Stew Mac and All Parts.

anyone have experience with covering those pickups? what worked for you?

the neck and bridge are different sizes.

You'll have to measure the screw pole spacing but often the import pickups are 50mm neck and 52mm bridge. Philadelphia Luthier carries covers for both spacings as well as no hole covers, 53mm, 49.2mm, open frame style etc. They are about 10 bucks each for nickel silver (not brass) covers.
