Thanks for the offer but I'm gonna be trading in the Ibanez in my Profile to get the guitar.

Re: Reverend Horton Heat Sig Gretsch!!!

i've never played or owned a hollow body but i have a bad case of G.A.S. for one of the new gretsch (brian setzer) Hot Rods in lime gold. too bad it's way way out of my price range i'd be willing to spend on a guitar i'd hardly use lol...

that's why i said of of my price range i'm WILLING to spend :)...yes i could buy one but it would be a bit of a waste since with the type of music i play it wouldn't get used that much...i'd rather buy a PRS that would get used more often for that amount of cash.

I love a big hollowbody gretsch. Here is my Tennessee Rose. I think they're pretty versatile too. I can get sounds from Neil Young ("Cinnammon Girl") to a mellow jazz sound.

ahh i hate you, I'm TOTALLY GASing for a tenny

how much did you pay for it?
I paid $1650 for it at Guitar Center. The manager is a friend of mine and gave me a real good deal. Real sweet guitar and worth alot more.

Re: Reverend Horton Heat Sig Gretsch!!!

I never dug the look of them, but that's not really important - I do however, dig the tone, while its not my style I can appreciate it.

Re: Reverend Horton Heat Sig Gretsch!!!

yeah but i decided that if i had a $1500 instrument I'd worry about it too much

i don't exactly stand still while im playing

so I'm goin for an electromatic hollow & then just put some tv's in it

i can get them for $500 so they won't be as big of a deal to me, and still have that great gretsch tone
