RI Mullard EL34s vs JJ, EH, Wing C?

I'm thinking about trying some EL34s in my Marshall and Christian is harassing me telling me the RI Mullards are the way to go. Anybody have any long term experience with them? Long life no?

Also how do they sound compared to the EH, Wing C's, and JJs. ?

I had them in my QR and hated how they sounded. Waaaaay to honky in the mids IMO. I swapped them out for winged C's and haven't looked back. The SED's are more balanced, focused and have a TIGHT bottom end.

I have the New Sensor "Mullard" EL34s in my Marshall and I think they sound great. So, how many "Mullard" reissues are there? GT, New Sensor, EH??

I was specifically talking about the New Sensor ones. What do you like/dislike about them?

To my ears, they have that classic EL34 crunch, smooth highs, crunchy mids and good low end. They don't seem to "fart out" when I crank the master volume to 10 like my previous tubes did. I'm also using the New Sensor Tung Sol 12AX7s in the preamp, this combination really sounds great in my Marshall. Very balanced and pleasing, the clean sound is really good too.

I have the New Sensor "Mullard" EL34s in my Marshall,

If I put these in my moded for more headroom 50 watt Laney AOR Pro-Tube will it give me tone somerwhere between Helloween and Zakk? I put moded TS9 with invader Strat. And from what I understand that New Sensor "Mullard" EL34 are made to last a lot longer then usual duration of poweramp tubes, correct ?

Can't comment about the others, but I have two Mesa amps with the Simul-Class power section. One has EH EL-34s and the other has the SED/Winged C's in those Class A sockets. Both are good, but I really like the Winged Cs.
