He's a co owner/partner of a restaurant/inn I drive by everyday . Saw him a few weeks ago on a abnormally warm day in a gorgeous porsche convertible heading toward the place. He was moving.

Hes got good taste in cars and guitars.

Guitar aficionado Magazine had Gere on the cover and did a story on his guitar collection as well as some guitars he was donating for sale for some specific charity even a few months back. Pretty sure that's where that photo ran.

Yeah, Ive heard before that he is a big time collector and has some AMAZING stuff. Someone else in Hollyweird is too whom I never would have expected, but cant recall who now.. I hear Kevin Bacon is a pretty good player and read an article in a mag yest at my DRs office that Jeff Daniels is a player too and does gigs..

Say what you will about Gere, I liked that movie an Officer and a Gerbilman...

Fairly new...10 years or less...911 type....Wasn't a boxster.

It looked more like my Father in Laws Cayman S, but don't think they make Cayman in convertible? , IDK....

The Boxster is a Cayman convertible. The 981 generation looks and drives well.

Not great for 4x12" Marshall cabinets, though.

Looks to be doing a "one of everything" move as a collector. Good for him. Nice stable. Needs a better amp

That amp is AMAZING and can't be beat.
