Re: rick turner guitars

He pretty much invented modern boutique guitars with Alembic. I’d love to get one of his instruments.

all it takes is money! although what im asking for he hasn't done yet but we shall see

Re: rick turner guitars

Pretty expensive, eh? I've never played one, but I like the pics.

Re: rick turner guitars

yeah, got to play the model 1 (what lindsay plays) and its a great instrument. volume, tone, boost & frequency, and a blend knob between the humbucker and the piezo. the piezo blew me away with how ballsy it was

Re: rick turner guitars

I've played two of my Dad's, he has a model 1 and something else. They are killer, great sounding with amazing build quality. They're more of a finger style only thing though, not for those used to a tele neck. Better fit & finish than most Gibson CS stuff, up their with my Ibanez J. Custom shop. For a boutique builder they seem to hold value pretty well if you don't like it.

Re: rick turner guitars

i play with my fingers plenty but also played these with a pick. really nice guitars. good to know about holding their value, not that i expect i would sell it but ya never know
