Rickenbacker 650

I've been looking at the Ric 650 Dakota. It looks promising, but I haven't had an opportunity to play one.

Does anybody have one, know someone who has one, played on once in a music store, anything? I'd love to get some feedback. BTW, I love my Ric 360-12

well I like them!
i haven't ever played a rickenbacker that wasn't made well. they're consistent, and it's got the classic feel.

as far as sound, it reminds me of a rick mixed in with a gibson, not a les paul though, like an sg or firebird.
