Rig change idea, thoughts?

Right now I have a Marshall TSL122. Got it for like 800 when the local Mars Music went under. I could never get the fx loop to work, but made some minor repairs (sodering some loose connections), pulled 2 of the tubes because its way too loud. But alas I'm thinking of selling it in lew of another rig as this amp sounds like the grill cloth is made out of a down comforter.

I'm thinking of getting two small amps. Probably a Thomas Winfeild (http://www.winfieldamps.com/) Winfeild (the model) as my dirty amp. Its a 30 watt el84 amp. They sound great. And then probably switching between that and something elsewith a panning pedal.

Any idea's for a good small clean amp?

I should be able to keep up with a band surely right? Typically live we mic up.

Find an old Roland JC-60, that'll suit ya fine.

Why not just get your TSL modded or something. You bought it cause thats the type of sound you want, and i heard voodoo mods does some great things to those marshalls. Thought about that road?

for 6l6 cleans, eh, take your pick of fenders, I've never heard a fender with a bad clean

Fender Twin? How small should it be? How much do you want to spend max?
