Rio Grande Pickup question Magnet swap?

Curious but has anyone swapped the Anico V Mags in the Rio Grande Texas/BBQ pickups with Alnico II?

Any Idea what the results would be?

I'm curious to try Alnico II, I have always used Alnico V

Buying Magnets would be cheaper than buying a New Alnico II Pro ect.

where can one buy Alnico II magnets if I wanted to swap out mags?

You're on the right track: tweak what you have before you rush out and buy more stuff. An A2 would take off some treble & fill in the mids. Warm it up and give it more color. The low end won't be as tight. If you want to try one, PM me, I have a lot of spare A2's.
