I believe that we're all waiting for your initial impressions of the amp's tone. How's it sound? Give us your first impressions, and we'll see how they stand up after you've had some time to tweak it.
Chubster isn't big. For comparsion, the amp on the left is my beloved Traynor YCV 40, which is little smaller than Line 6 Flexton. Traynor is much wider than Chubster although they are about the same height.
Here is the funny part. Chuster is much deeper than Traynor. Kinda Chubby looking.
Chubster footswitch. In addition to the channel switching button on the left, there are two more button for boost for each channel. Somehow they call the clean channel boosting "Ninja Boost". Why? You tell me.
There are two inputs - high gain input & low gain input - similar to old style two input. Also, the left part of the panel has volume and tone knobs for dirty channel. Master volume knob also works as boost level adjust knob. I haven't figured out what "select" is yet.
Chubster backpanel. IT has two EL34 driving 55 watt.
FX loop has level adjust knobs for both send and return
Also, it comes with Celestioan G12T-75 stock, which I am not that into. So, I just replaced with it with Celestion Vintage Neodymium (You should try it to believe it).
About the tone, tone is subjective. I spent an hour or so tweaking knobs to see if I can get sound I want. It was much easier to get a decent sound out of clean channel. It's midnight and I really can't turn it on to see its full potential. Once thing I can tell you is that the dirty channel somehow sounds like dark marshall sound. I will post another review when I get fully used to it.
