RMC3 Wah - Is it really that good?

I'm thinking of replacing my Dunlop Wah. People seem to really like RMC3, from what I've read it is a very versatile wah capable of achieving a variety of classic wah sounds.

I like wah tones from hendrix, Jerry Cantrell, Mike McCready (Ten Album), Metallicas black album and SRV. Plus all the others that escape me now I have started typing!.

I'm interested to hear peoples thoughts on this wah.

Cheers

Have no experience with the RMC3.

Do have the wizard wah, and Teese's stuff is top notch. I dunno how he does so much with such a simple circuit. Its all friggin voodoo. None of the wahs I built ever sounded half as good.

But...yes...a Teese would be a very nice upgrade from a dunlop wah.

Great wah, Teese wahs sound amazing but IMHO there are quality issues with the newer RMC wahs...

I had one and loved the tone, hated the noise level and hated that it had to be repaird 3 times in 14 months...

Sold it and never looked back...

I too have a Wizard which works really great with overdriven amps, but I also upgraded my Dunlop with an Area51 drop in kit and for classic/ funky Wah sounds it's superb! I'd check the Area51 site out first if I were you before you splash the cash.
