Rockboard MOD units, any users?

Has anyone used the Rockboard MOD patch units? I’m thinking about getting the MOD 1. Also, does anyone know if there are major differences between the v1 and v2? I believe an extra power-through connection, but the MOD 1 v1 had that anyway.
