Rocking/Round Tune-O-Matic Posts

I recall hearing (and seeing) that vintage Gibsons fitted with Bigsbys had dome shaped adjustment wheels. The purpose was to preserve tuning by means of the bridge rocking in sync with the strings' movement, akin to a Jazzmaster/Mustang bridge. Somehow I can't google this; does anyone reproduce the rocking bridge posts?

Better to get a roller bridge. If your bridge rocks your intonation will go out. That was old, not very good solutions to the problem. Technology advances.

As far as I'm concerned if there's a "best" solution I already own it- and at this point if I wanted yet another "best" solution I'd avoid a Bigsby to begin with. I get more curious about solutions off the beaten path.
