Rotten Sound amps?

Been listening to Rotten Sounds album Exit and they have some seriously crushing guitar sound. Anyone knows what amps they used for it? Sounds a lot like Mesas but could also be Engls with the bass turned up. I just can't find infos on it.

Is this a German band? How does the powerball sound? i'm very curious about them and have heard good things.
