people are selling those russian cheap butted pedals over 200$!!!
How come to that?
Is there anything special ,resistors ,ICs whatever?

Well, first the green Rusian Muff pedals have been high for a long time now, a few years ago they jummped up to over 3 bills. Second, those Muff pedals are built like tanks which is something no older EH boxes every were and 3rd they sound great!

Well, thats the deal...if you ever take one of those green ones apart you'll see that they could survive being run over by a truck and the other catch is that they sound pretty killer!

just yesterday i was just browsing MF for pedals. I think it was the MXR micro amp that really made me think about this. This pedal costs 80 dollars. It has one knob and a switch and has only one purpose. WHY DOES IT COST 80 DOLLARS!?!? The muff is guilty of this too. Very simple pedal, but they go for so much. I can see the older ones going for more for the antiquity value, but 70 dollars for a new one?

all guitarists should boycott for a few weeks. Then see what happens to the prices of effect pedals... man i'm cheap.

I was reading a magazine where it was talking about Russians. Apparently they tend to take care of themselves more than their American and european counterparts and alot of the time they dont even have a muff to speak of.

I need one that is less noisy, true bypass and capacity to be plugged in. also, one that does not take up as much space on the floorboard. wait a sec, ronsound hairpie!
