S D 84-40 Caps

I Ordered new capacitors for my 84-40 most came in Identical. some came in half of the physical size of the original.
all tolerances were matched perfect (capacitance,voltage,temp.rating) but were half as big as original. will it matter?

As long as they fit, and are electrically identical, no worries.

Due to advances in materials and design, capacitors keep getting smaller. As long as the capacitance value is the same, and the voltage rating is equal to or greater than the original, you'll be fine. You might need to stretch the leads a bit to fit in the old holes, but that's no biggie.

The only thing that matters is whether or not the measured value is the same.

Yeah...as long as the Voltage rating is correct.....size is a non-issue (unless they are too big).
