S. Demon

Re: S. Demon

Nice playing, once again. Is there a site I can go to to check out all your backing tracks, with no guitar?

Re: S. Demon

Yeah I have backings online....but sometimes I am just alittle weary of sharing, it takes alot of time to get good ones, and I used to have a link as a sticky here, but the lack of any gratitude and way too conform members eventually put me off wanting to share them all that much, my attitude these days are like this, go and dig them up yourselves;)
No offense meant in that.
Anyways here is the link for some tracks, http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=139693.

Re: S. Demon

Good levelling... I think the volume of the backing track could have been slightly lower.

I'm a big fan of the Screamin' Demon for the high notes.

V. tasty finger vibrato and display of chops...

Thanks Rid.

Re: S. Demon

This is actually the best tone I've heard from you Rid! It sounds more 'organic' that the rest of your clips to me. Great playing as usual, very professional.

I agree on the backing track volume being a bit too high, are you getting old? Turn that guitar up man!!! :D

Re: S. Demon

Nice playing. NIce bakcing track as well, gives a good feel. Did you record direct or mic an amp?

Sounds like you had fun on this one.

Thanks for sharing!

Re: S. Demon

Thanks;)
I finally found a pedal I really like for homerecording, all my normal ones only sounds about half as good as they do on a real amp, so this little thing has made me quite happy:D
Used my Marshall DRP-1 as a clean amp, and then my new multidrive for dirt, organic...hehe I hate that word but I know what you mean, I am so due to record with a mic and real amps:D
The track was provided by Ed DeGenaro from THD, a real monsterplayer and a fab guy!

Re: S. Demon

Nice!

I tried the SD in a basswood Ibanez (yeah, I know) w/500k pots, and something about it bothered me...too much presence, maybe? Strange, but I like a bright-ish setup, yet the SD was not to my liking.

Are you using 500k or 250k pots?

Bob
