Sacrilege to magnet-swap a CS pickup?

So I have this CS Antiquity JB, right? I like it... but the grass is always greener on the other side, right?

I have a double-thick Ceramic kicking around. Ignoring the debate about the JB being the same wind as the Distortion, I will essentially get a more aggressive but also bigger-sounding pickup, correct? Chances say I'll like it even better, I think.

But it's a CS pickup. I almost feel dirty considering it... but maybe it's not such a big deal?

What do y'all think?

I recall it was already disassembled to inspect the magnet. So I don’t see why not in this case.

Normally if a pickup was designed for a specific application I wouldn’t mess with it. From rough-cast A5 to double ceramic is a big change..

Non of my Ants HB have the original mag. I liked a normal ceramic better in the JB, better than the A8. Go figure.

BTW i can praise a stock SH-6N not highly enough as ceramic pickup in the bridge.
