Personally no, but I've seen them pop up quite a bit and guys seem to really dig the tone they get out of them.
I'm still a fan of my K&K Power Pack. That thing improved my already good tone drastically. For going direct (and passive) you can't beat the new Radial JDI's. For actives, the best is still the Avalon gear.
