Santana1(ant)/MKIIc

I finally got around to getting a little something recorded. The guitar is my PRS Santana 1 (with modded antiquity in the neck position) through my boogie MKIIc+. Both the volume and tone are rolled off a bit to try and give it a warm tone similar to the original version of the song. For backing track I simply created it using Band in a Box, it is all computer generated so it is what it is. The song is Santana's Victory is Won. I stuck to the original melody fairly closely except until the end. I just cut it off fairly abruptly to keep it pretty short.

Nice job Al. That is by far my fav track off the album. I must have listened to it about 20x in a row when I first listened to it. I wish Carlos would focus on that style a bit more.

I am trying to find a good backing track for Samba Pa Ti if you come across one.

Thanks. I disappeared for awhile but have drifted back more recently. Listening to some of ALF's clips really made me want to post something but finding the time has been a real problem. Hopefully I will get some other stuff together.
