Hey everyone! Does anyone know what Strings, Picks and Pickups Criss Oliva and Chris Caffery use/used? Want to know that because they have a wonderful sound! Thanks!

Don't know about Oliva, but straight from Chris Caffery's website:
"I use Marshall JCM 900, 100 Watt Amps with Vintage Cabs. I use a Boss GT3 Guitar Processor through the effects loops. This is for delay and clean sounds. I use a Cry Baby Wah and a Vox Valve Tone through the amp imput to the Jackson Guitars with Duncan JB pick ups."

Chris Caffery has a homepage drop him a line, there is an email ink there and it says he answers all emails. Maybe he will drop you some info not found in other places.

I am pretty sure Chris has shifted to ENGL amps these days.

We used to share a rehearsal space with Savatage in Clearwater FL. They were one of the loudest bands I have ever heard. I used one of Criss Oliva's 4x12 Marshall cabs on a few tracks on my band's latest CD. It was in the studio we recorded it at.
