Schaller locking tuners question

Does anyone know if all 6 inline sets of Schaller locking tuners have staggered post heights? I think they do, but I'm looking at a set on Ebay and the seller is telling me that they aren't staggered in height. I think all Schaller 6IL models are staggered, and that he's just not looking close enough. It's not blatently obvious, you have to look pretty closely to see that the string hole sits a bit lower on three of the tuners. Before I bid, does anyone know for sure? I can't seem to find these anywhere, everyplace I've looked says that they're backordered, and probably won't be in for a while. Thanks.

There are both types. I don't know enough about the model numbers to tell the diff. I had a set of non height staggered on my strat....and they worked great.

the fender schaller ones are not staggered at least the two sets of brushed silver ones i have aren't and they work great! i'm not sure about the regular schaller locking tuners since i only buy the fender ones since they are a direct drop in on a strat or tele with no drilling and the regular locking schallers (non-fender) need drilling since they only have a single pin when the fender ones have two pins.

I need the ones with screw tabs, not the ones made for Fender. I can't tell from the pic whether or not the posts are staggered. It's hard to tell because the post heights are the same, but the string holes are slightly lower on the G, B, and high E tuners.

Mine are staggered, and it looks like those are too. Look at the difference in space between the top and the string holes, the ones on the right are higher and hence for the low E, A, and D. Do you need the screw tabs for a direct retrofit? Are you sure the holes are the right size? I have a set and there are 2 different heights, although there's not much in it. They work superbly. If you look carefully at the pic you'll see that the 1's on the left are slightly diff from those on the right which are for the E A & D strings.

Thanks guys...yes, I'm sure these will fit, it's for a Warmoth neck that has been drilled specifically for these tuners. Drilling a small hole for the screw isn't a problem.

If you have to drill the hole, I'd recommend the Schallers like the ones on the Stew-Mac site. I think they look a lot cleaner without the screw. I also think it's a more stable fit as the top part of the tuner screws onto the bottom, instead of a screw on a seperate little tab. You can buy a jig from Stew-Mac also to drill the alignment pin holes, it works like a charm: http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Tools/Jigs/Tuner_Pin_Drill_Jig.html

Drilling is no problem, I've drilled tuner holes on many occasions. Schaller makes great stuff, but damn, everything is backordered for months. They really need to step up their production.

I'm telling ya, man, hit the first Stew-Mac link. Looks like they've got them in stock, and they work great. You drill an alignment pin hole for them, but you don't have to deal with the stupid little mounting screw.
