Scored an Atomic reactor on ebay yesterday

So I play with a Boss GT-8 live. I've been playing though a Tech21 Power Engine, which sounds great with the 8 at bedroom volumes, but where I play, it sounds weak and solid state.

Went to the guitar store and played it through the power amps sections of a blues deluxe reissue and a hot rod deluxe, also. Sounded great!

So I called Tom King at Atomic Amps (on a Saturday) and talked to him about the potential differences between amp possibilities. He said that my experience was likely to be as good as others, who seem to rave about it.

Logged on to ebay and there was a model with less than 3 minutes left. Put in my maximum price, and bought it for that right away, with less than a minute left. It is MINE!

Well I'm glad you did! Which model? I have 5 of em (2 18w, 2 50w-112s and 1 50w-212), so I'm glad your as psyched as I am about using them.

I use the PODxt and once in a while I run my Kasha Rockmod preamp into it for sessions for something completely different. I do alot of work with Atomic. Let's call it something like an unofficial endorsement.

I also may take some time to start building or buying very small preamps, or play with rackmount preamps. It could also serve well for that purpose, so I considered it a good investment.
