did a pickup swap for a friend of mine, did some comparison clips as well-

the demon is tight as hell! and the air classic is very articulate. which makes sense, those are the sounds my friend tends to prefer.

Preferred the Dean bridge pickup, but the Air Classic in the neck. MIK Stockers from Dean are not that bad (better than most import pickups). The Demon had that "duncan clean" nature, which I like, but the Dean had more meat.

Of course

1) I've never been a fan of the Demon to begin with

and

2) in person, playing the guitars, I could feel totally different about them

yeah, i like the sound of both in the clips, but in person the dean pickup had kind of a mushy/sloppy feel to it that i didnt like at all. and i like the demon a lot more through an amp than came through in the clips.
