Screamin Demon/Hot Rails combo?

The salesperson at the guitar store I shop at recommended a Screamin Demon (b) and hot rails for the (n) and (m).

I have MIM Fender Fat Strat with an alder body and maple neck. I have a VOX Valvetronix 15w practice amp.

I want to play metal, punk, and grunge.

Welcome to the forum! :)

This will be a very nicely balanced sound!

The Demon is a great pickup because you can push it very hard before it gets muddy.

The only downside is that it won't drive your amp very hard, so if you're doing metal, I would advise an overdrive pedal AND a high gain amp.

Also, you might wanna consider replacing your Strat's bridge saddles with Graphtech saddles. They improve tone + string life tremendously!!

My next upgrade should be an ampl. I guess I will go ahead and have the SD and rails installed. Thanks again.
