I bought this second hand Peavey V-Type that the previous owner put a Screamin Demon on the bridge, except he got the normal humbucker size instead of the trembucker (guitar has FR), and it's seriously bothering my OCD. The original neck PU sucks.
I've been thinking about moving the Screamin Demon up to the neck and put a new PU on the bridge.
Which one do you think would go well with it?
The guitar has an alder body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard.
I don't usually like to pair PUs that change the sound too much from one to another, other than the usual tonal change because of the position. I certainly want it to have similar output and gain response; so my first thought was to get another Screamin Demon (trembucker) for the bridge. Then I started thinking about the Perpetual Burn.
What bridge PU would you pair a neck Screamin Demon with? I already have a guitar with a bridge Pegasus, so no repeats
