SD 2 83 pickup identification

Hello all, I have a JV strat and trying to identify what these pick ups are? 'SD 2 83' is stamped on the back also a white rectangular sticker on back reads '1LR', middle pickup reads '1L-C'.

Just want to know if it's a ol Seymour pickup and what it is (SSL-1)? Is it non of the above?

Well, the "1" indicator is correct for a SSL-1 produced before 2002. I don't have a great deal of experience with single coils, but I do have one set of SSL-1 bridge and APS middle and neck. At least one of my pickups has the 02 83 stamp in the base plate too.

I'm fairly sure they are SSL-1's, but those codes in that format are not listed on the page of pre 2002 labels exactly as such. The "C" on the first pickup could mean Catalina Padilla, but she is only listed as winding rails. The "R" on the second or should mean Connie Rocha, who does or did wind single coils.

Look at the stagger of the poles. Should be a lefty neck and middle. (SSL)

The bridge p'up is a Hot Rails bridge.
