SD 59/Custom Hybrid or Dimarzio Dominion

I think about to buy SD 59/Custom Hybrid or Dominion bridge, I'll use them in my neck pickup, pair with dimarzio D Activator, so wich one better for Heavy rythm and Djent, most people use bridge for djent, i want to try something new, so i build my guitar bridge pup for lead and neck pup for rythm. so which one suit for me..?

Between those two pickup choices the obvious pick is the Dominion. Both are fine pickups, but a 59/Custom won't nearly do the djent game as well as the Dominion.

Neck pickup for djent rhythm will be pretty damn muddy, so make sure you're using a bright sounding pickup.

i use ibby rg870qmz, Amrcn Basswood/quilted maple, Maple/wallnut 5pc neck, rosewood fretboard. it sound neutral in acousticaly, not so bright and not so dark too.
so even bright pickup will sounding darker on the neck position...?

The neck position naturally has a darker sound because of the string vibration at that location. In addition to that, the string also vibrates more freely in the neck position, and so it generates naturally more output, and that's why most neck pickups are lower output than bridge pickups.

If you want to get a clear and tight djent rhythm sound out of the neck position, you probably want to look into medium output bright sounding bridge pickups to install there. Typically higher output bridge pickups have a lot of mids, and that generally results in a very muddy sound when installed in the neck position.

I don't want to be that guy, but I don't think djent in the neck position is going to work... like... at all.

okay so i should install bright medium output pickup to balance it.
