Bargin Basement Howard Hughes
I started out wanting to do anger rising - I may still - but I started messing with this one, and was having a bit of fun with it.
In fact, this clip was recorded no less than an hour ago (it's 11:30 now...) at such low volumes you can HEAR my jack-hammer like mutes during the part with no drums, and I'm around a corner from my amp (amp in living room, I am in dining room - together they are L shaped, with the short leg being the dining area...
Also, what's different with this one, is that I decided to do single takes for the whole thing. There are two tracks, but they are identical parts - I just panned one left and one right. Most of my clips are cut/paste pieces, I'll play x riff 10 times, choose a couple that fit well and then stack/pan them. Not this one though
I just got those SD 59's installed a day or so ago, and I'm digging them - this is the first clip I've recorded with them (so far!)
Let me know your thoughts =)
