It’s easy to forget Duncan makes filtertrons, I’ve never heard a demo either. One thing to be aware of is that those TV Jones are not potted. I sometimes like that on PAFs but you may experience microphonics at high volumes or with enough gain.

I've recently acquired a Mexican Tele Thinline with TV Jones Classic pickups. I'm playing it through a Bassbreaker 15 using a Boss OD3 for a boost. I'm experiencing no microphonics though I haven't played it really loud. They are great pickups.

I have a Classic/Classic Plus set in an S Style and they kill for most types of music except for the most extreme metal. I've also had zero issues with the lack of potting.
I'd be interested in comparisons to the SDs because I think the TV Jones are as.good as it gets. I consider them one of the most versatile pickups I use and the split sounds are shockingly excellent.
