I have a Strat with one only 500K volume pot and an SD model 78 (bridge) work fine like it is.
Wanted to add with this, an STK-S4 to the neck, and put a resistor 470K from the + to gnd on this pickup, so it can see a 250k volume pot (volume pot with switch)
Strange the model 78, is all the sudden spyky, harsh, if I take out the STK-S4 it comes to normal.
Anybody experience this problem ? ( humbucker with single coil)
