SD p'up cover cost?

I've got two plain black '59 humbuckers that I would like to get Gold covers and gold screws installed on. How much does Duncan charge for covering+repotting p'ups? (no, I don't want to cover and pot them myself)

I had that done on one pup and SD charged (if I remember correctly) $25.00. That is for one nickel pup, gold will probably be more. Be ready for a long wait in getting it back.

What about buying a cover and doing it yourself, or having a guitar tech put it on?

Wouldn't '59 take a std size cover?

You can buy the cover and do it yourself but one advantage of having Duncan do it is the vacuum wax potting process that insures good wax saturation into the coils. The cover will run you half of that $25.00 by itself most likely.
