SD Tone Wizard

I really don´t like the tone wizard :(

No mather which style i choose with my Les Paul i always end up with theese suggestions;

Bridge; SH-5 Custom, SH-4 JB and SH-14 Custom 5

Neck; SH-1 59 and SH-2 Jazz

Does this means that SD only recommend 5 pickups from their line???

Re: SD Tone Wizard

for whatever style guitar/amp you've got, it seems so. but that's why you've got the forum here to ask about stuff like that;)

Re: SD Tone Wizard

If you email them they will recomend the Custom 5/59 EVERY time...
They f-ing LOVE that pickup combo for LPs...

Re: SD Tone Wizard

I said this once and someone had it sig'd forever, here it is again -

Tone Wizard is to SDUG Forum what
David Copperfield is to Gandalf

If you found your way here screw the wiz. He's a little man behind a curtain with smoke and mirrors. We are what Oz is really all about.

Re: SD Tone Wizard

for my Epiphone baritone Les Paul, these are the recommendations I got:

Wizard - JB/Jazz
forum - Invaders
someone from SD (Alex, I think) - Distortion/Jazz
me - Dime/Jazz

The Distortion is my favorite bridge humbucker, but I wanted to try something different.
