This is my measly effort being sent off to Rob for the CD, maybe as a CD intro or outro since it's short and instrumental.




Called "The Passing", it's a tune I threw together for the SDUGF CD to honour the memory of my faithful friend Tiko, murdered in his prime.

Bit of grief, bit of anger, then resigned melancholy.

Yeah man I dig it.
My only complaint is that it's too short! I expected a heavy pantera or Black label Society riff after that to be honest.

i had to pull it short man, I ended up getting real sick and landing myself in hospital. I made sure I got it mixed down before I went in though.

Tha's exactly what I was going to say. My fading memory doesn't remember who played what, but with this short reminder I definitely remember loving this stuff in the Riff Wars!!

You could do a search for Spock and Hirsute Henry in the forum search, those were the names I used at the time I think. I'm not sure if the riff wars were vaulted or not.
I think you only started posting here again shortly after the Riff Wars ended.

A general search for the Riff Wars on here should reveal all the forum dudes' entries.
