Right now I have Gibson Les Paul Custom Pickups from a Gothic Studio LEs Paul and I am considering hanging them to Duncans and or something else. I want the Dimebuckers, but ive seen pickups with 2 rails per coil. I think they were dimarzio's and could be wired taped 4ways. (not sure on that). Does Duncan make PU's with 4 Rails?
Heres what i want to do with the wiring. Based on the (Dial a Split Schem on Duncans site) I want to use concentric pots and have each to coil tap the pickups. So 2 volume pots with split knobs. And a third for tone. I'd also like an internal preamp that is low power for better tone adjustment. And to add to this, I want to use the now defunct pick up selector (perhaps a roatery switch) to select between in/out of phase and parallel/series wiring.
Can anyone help with a schematic that covers all this? (3 knobs, 1 switch limitation) I'd have to drill an extra hole for the third knob so I dont want to drill any more. The selector switch I can replace if nessisary.
My guitar is a Ibanez Iceman IC300. Any help is greatly appreciated.
