Seems that Mike did indeed got done....

Re: Seems that Mike did indeed got done....

For those not in the know, this is the Fulltone Tri-Stereo Chorus. It sounds fantastic, btw, but no way in hell am I paying however much over $1000 he wants for it. Chorus just isn't that awesome to me.

Re: Seems that Mike did indeed got done....

You cannot see it as just a chorus.....
It belongs in a racksetup.......not just with pedals and normal rigs....
Never forgot that mad 3D experience that thing had......
The org Tri Chorus costs about 5 grand used........
This is another league of effects...

Re: Seems that Mike did indeed got done....

I wished I could.... Well I can, but shouldn't... Resisting!!!!

Re: Seems that Mike did indeed got done....

Good Heavens ..... 1k.?
How much does a new Axe-Fx cost.?
Effects pricing have gotten out of hand.

To be fair, it's a labor intensive rack unit that uses NOS parts of which there are a limited supply. It can't be cheap to build one of these things. They're quite feature laden too. IIRC it's like $1400, I'm just too lazy to check.

Re: Seems that Mike did indeed got done....

Yep got parts for 3200 pieces...
Seems like the ss tape echo is coming out too....Mike is going places right now.

Its on my watch list for certain. I love the TTE and have extra tapes waiting for the SS version. I have got a RE-201 as well, but the Fulltone SS should the best of both worlds. Pretty awesome stuff and sound quality with very little to compare it to. I appreciate what Mike is bringing to the table, genuinely. Cheers! RG

No doubt....and I am Definitely Not hip to old rack gear.
As You say...parts alone will be costly, it is just a shocking price is all.
But I guess the TTD was about 900 bux when it came out a few years back.
Certain products, built certain ways are expensive...just sticker shock on my part I suppose.
Thanks for the above info.
Carry On

Re: Seems that Mike did indeed got done....

I've been wondering when Mike Fuller would complete that project. Fulltone continues to lead the pack in the boutique pedal market.

I have no interest in the unit, since I hardly even use my Fulltone Choral Flange, which they stupidly discontinued. I'd love to try one though. Truetone Music in Santa Monica will surely have one. They're only a couple miles away from Fulltone.

Re: Seems that Mike did indeed got done....

I sometimes wonder why Fulltone discontinued the Choral Flange, because it's a good pedal and seemed like a decent seller. I don't know anything about it, but I wonder if it's because he needed the parts to complete his new rack piece. ???

I had one, and I kind of wish I still had it. The reason I sold it back then was that it wasn't able to do a nice subtle chorus. Maybe I just didn't have the chops to effectively use it... I do remember it being a high quality piece. I am in love with the OCD currently. Might have to get a full drive soonish.
