Selecting high output pickups for baritone Jazzmaster copy

I have a baritone Jazzmaster copy I’m working on. This poor thing hasn’t gotten some play time in a while, so I want to refurbish it and make it a nice, brutal baritone.
I generally play Melodeath, Death Metal, Black Metal and things generally in that wheel house.
I’ve been considering a Custom/Jazz set, or Nazgûl/Sentient, or Nazgûl/Jazz set. I really like the chiminess of the Jazz in the neck, hence choosing it for two possible combinations. I plan to put this guitar in B standard when all is said and done.
I’m running through a Marshall DSL100h and an Avatar 2x12 with Celestion V30’s boosted with a Tube Screamer.
In the forum’s humble opinion, which one of these would most deliver the goods?

Sounds like a cool project! I'd suggest a Sentient/Pegasus or Sentient/Nazgul for this. You get the chime-y neck thing with some tight brutality in the bridge, especially with lower tunings.

How does the Sentient compare to the Jazz? I’ve seen in several places it likened to in between the Jazz and ‘59. Is it essentially a lower output PAF style that’s geared towards heavy down tuning?

It doesn't have the woofy bass of the 59, but it has more (and tighter) bass than the Jazz. I'd say it isn't as bright as the Jazz either. It isn't especially low output like a vintage neck pickup, though. But it sounds amazing for all lowered tunings.

I’m curious to hear how that would sound. I’ve listened to some tone demos online, but there’s only so much you can get without actually playing it in person, and through your own rig. Sounds like I’ll have to give the Sentient/Nazgûl set a go. Thank you

I greatly dig the Full Shred in my 7 string tuned to Bb standard. Sounds monstrous and mean with high gain, great definition on the chugs. Cleans are beautiful and chimey.

I’ve been reading up on the full shred and listening to some clips. I dig it. I think I may have to try one. Although, I might drop a double thick ceramic in there and see what happens
