Great White Malice
Oh my....
I never thought I'd have to do this but... Im having a bad time money-wise... car transmission just broke, and cant use the credit card... :smoker:
This is a BFDR repro I just completed. It has a Hoffman-style board, WeberVST transformers, all-pine cab. Accutronics Reverb. JJ 6L6GC power tubes (biased at ~38 mA, 485v plate voltage). UOS RCA 5U4GB or Weber WZ34 coppercap (both included). UOS RCA 12AU7 (reverb driver). All others tubes are JJ's ECC83S (12AT7 in PI slot). This is a great lil'amp, you know what the BFDR are capable of.
There's some small issues with this amp :
- The theaded portion of the Vibrato Treble pot is broken, but works fine, not a big deal, can be easily replaced.
- The tremolo doesnt work, I probably messed up something in the wiring. Not a big deal. The Vibrato channel actually WORKS fine.
It's a homebrew amp, it has some *faint* crackling noises, either a cold solder joint or microphonic tube, I havent spent time to correct those small issues after the first flick of the switch. No big deal, anyone handy with an soldering gun can correct these. THIS AMP HAS NO BAD HUM/BUZZ.
I'm selling the amp w/o the speaker. You'll save on shipping.
600$ SHIPPED. It's a +900$ value, and used only 2-3 times.... not even cranked !! Hoffman boards are 250$ and are probably the best ones out there.
