I also found this KILLER backing when cleaning out a folder on my PC, figured I'd see what kind of takes you guys could churn out. Everyone should be able to find something to play over this one.

Whew! I was afraid "sensitive" might mean emo or something of that nature :saeek: This track is extremely beautiful! Whoever came up with it is friggin' awesome. I might take a swing at this on the weekend or something, but I want to hear Craig's take first :)

FretFire, sweet take! You have a Wolfgang? Lucky! I would love to own one. That 5150 model you dialed in there sounds pretty good! The 5150 "model" on my Boss could be better :blackeye: But I might just be a picky SOB about 5150 because I own a real one, haha! :rolleyes:

Yeah, I have a Wolfie, but don't get too jealous as it's the import Special series ;). Still a killer guitar though, I had it for about 2 days when I played that take haha.

Wanna re-string my guitar, change some saddles and give it a proper set-up, but I will record something and post it within the next week. I've already saved the backtrack on my PC.

I just listened to your take on that backing track, nice thick rich tone. Which actually reminded me of the tone on vai's "whispering a prayer", the bends are what make it sweet. Nice to meet you on this board.

We are talking about getting a new computer, something that is circa the stone age so hopefully one day I'll be able to join you fellas in the forum jams -- until then I guess I just get to sit back and enjoy!

Thanks man, that was guitar ->PODxt->PC, and the bends were actually me dropping the strings slack with the bar, hitting a harmonic, and letting it swell back up. I did it accidentally my first take, and thought "how cool, I have to start over and make that part of the "main theme". The whole thing reminds me of a cheesy 80's porno though :laugh2:

Still no luck on my PC front :E

I really like the backing too! For some reason it saves this file as an mpga and not mp3 and I can't seem to change that "/

It sounds like one of your media players are fighting for file type association. Download Winamp (www.winamp.com) and let it open everything its much less intrusive and sounds better than any other MP3 or media player.
