Sentient 7 as a bridge pickup

I’ve been going through a lower output phase where I’ve found pickups like the 59 and the pearly gates endearing for the clarity, chime, and nuance I can get out if them. I was considering a 59 seven string humbucker for one of my guitars. I looked into it and found a post that said that the regular six string sentient sounds very close to the 59 bridge in the neck. It has me thinking that the nature of the sentient 7 would be close to a 59 7. The sentient 7 is 9.2k and 59 7 bridge is 9.4k and their eq profiles are very close; the 59 7 bridge has slight,y more bass and less kids than the sentient 7.

I have a sentient 7 handy. Never used it in the bridge position though. Has anybody had any experience with it there? I previously had a Pegasus 7 there that was too dark and boring. I figure if I’m looking for something more paf like, the sentient would be better suited and I could maybe live with the output since the Pegasus is weak but without the charm.

if you are looking for a tight focused percussive, low output bridge pup, then go for it!

If you try the Sentient in there, let us know how that works out. Your experience would probably help others wondering the same thing.
