Sentient + Pegasus in a .strandberg* Boden Original 8?

I'm interested to get more inspiring low gain and clean tones from my guitar.

I don't think I have the right vocabulary to describe what's lacking with the Fishman Fluence but I have to try: sharp attack, clear high harmonics, and dynamic interest and subtlety, i.e. playing loud and soft sounds different.

Anything else to suggest? Needs to be packaged in the so-called "active mount".

Another thing to look at is the Alpha & Omega set, which can be ordered with an Active Mount. Of course, the Sentient/Pegasus is my other suggestion.

Alpha & Omega is very appealing but I found no indication that they are available in Active Mount so I ruled them out. Is it something I would have to ask the custom shop about?

I believe they can be ordered as part of the Shop Floor Custom (ordered through an SD dealer). The page I usually reference for that is missing on the new website so right this second I can't confirm. But you might want to contact the Custom Shop anyway and ask if it has to go through them.

They are....I have (had) them in my Ibby 7 String.
I replaced the Pegasus with a Nazgul.
All of them in active mount.

Why did you replace the A + Ω? What do you think of Pegasus + Nazgul? Have you been able to compare Nazgul with Sentient?

After some more reading and listening I'm at present more inclined to Sentient + Pegasus.

Why did you replace the A + Ω? What do you think of Pegasus + Nazgul? Have you been able to compare Nazgul with Sentient?

I’m sorry ...I misread the original post.
I bought this guitar used and it had the Pegasus/sentient set already installed in active mount.
I replace the Pegasus because I wanted something higher output and less “polite”.
The Nazgul is downright rude...in a good way.

Yeah, kinda figured there would be a giant wait right now. Good news is that I believe they are just getting back to work.

On May 15th the news was "Our factory has just reopened after being closed for 8 weeks. We have temporarily suspended taking Custom orders as we try to catch up on production."

They have a skeleton crew working, and a mountain of back orders. For anything right now, just try to find a dealer with the right stuff, or just be patient.
