Sentient/Pegasus Set For Ibanez RG8

I’m planning on upgrading the stock pickups from my Ibanez RG8 to the 8 string version of the Sentient/Pegasus set. I have my guitar tuned to C# Standard (common tuning for 9 string guitars) and I’m wondering if this set would be good for split-coil and series/parallel wiring sounds.

I’m also planning on switching out the original 3-way switch for a 5-way switch, to possibly match the typical 5-way switch wiring on most Ibanez guitars w/ 2 pickups.

Both the split and parallel sounds of that combo are usable. Keep in mind, while split will sound more like a single coil, parallel is hum-cancelling.
