Seth Lover bridge/neck hybrid in the neck?

Hey,

So I was wondering if anyone ever mixed bridge and neck coils of the same bucker and used it in the neck? Would a Seth bridge/neck hybrid be too much in the neck? I had a 17K bucker in my neck and it was useless full, but split sounded really nice. I know the seth will be nowhere near that, and I wonder if the bridge coil will even be hot enough to be usable. With that problem I can't imagine the pickup would be too dark or thick, but who knows?

I like my neck pickups as low wind as possible. I did even wind them down (an old DiMarzio PAF from 8.1K to 6.9k). If you have 22 fret strat type or a 24 fretter its okay to use low wound bridge pups like the Jazzb, SethB, PGB or AP2B, IMO.
In those very low wind pups i can use even an A2 or an A3 magnet to a certain fullness without being muddy.

Agree... cleaner is better in the neck... the 59/Jazz Neck is my absolute favorite...
