Seth Lover bridge with 300k Volume Pot??

Has anyone by chance tried Seth Lovers in a LP with 300k +/- pots? I liked these pickups a lot; traded for the AII Pro's. They were a little bright and thin on top, just curious what they (mainly the bridge) would sound like with a 300k vol pot.

bright and thin on top? really?
they have some bite, since they're not potted, but I don't find 'em "thin and bright"

I can't comment on 300K pots though .. mine are in a Hamer Artist.

what guitar was this in?

Heritage H-150, just over 9lbs. Not no Epi or anything. I've heard quite a few other folks say this. Got a set of AII Pro's to try; but these WCR Darkburst are freakin killer.

I wouldn't say thin. I would say vintage and low gain. I would try 300k in Bridge, but for neck it gets too muffled.
PS it would like to hear a Seth bridge with an A8 and 500k pots first. This might help to thicken the tone.

Something sounds wrong here. If you are hearing the Seth set as bright and thin, something cannot be working the way it should. Clear...yes. Lower drive on your amp.....yes. But thin and bright, I can't see how.

As for your question: 300k pots with Seth Lovers? ..........No. That will ensure that they don't sound their best.
