Seth Lover set that is aged?

Cross post** Are these two aged pickups from a normal Seth set? I ask because I am not used to seeing them aged and the BL on the bridge pickup is not what I am used to seeing?

Did Duncan offer these aged? or must these have been aged by someone after market. I may be selling them and wanted to know more about them. seth 4.jpgseth 2.jpgseth 3.jpg seth.jpg

Those look like they came out of the custom shop. Antiquity Seth Lovers.

You can order brushed/lightly aged nickel as a shop floor custom (I have one of these). Those in the photos appear to be full Custom Shop Dun-aged, as Ayrton said.

... and they quite old referring to the serial of March 1998.

If they were Custom Shop wouldn't they have an actual Seymour signature and not the stamp these have?

They are said to be Custom Floor Shop, which means just a variation of the looks not the specs.

I don't know how big the first run was, but I believe only the first few hundred or so were hand signed. I've only seen 2-3 hand signed ones for sale anywhere in recent years.

There's also a possibility the covers were swapped after the fact. At least one of the solder blobs looks messed with to me.
