Seth Lover vs.Whole Lotta' Humbucker pair

I have had the Duncan Seths in my Les Paul Classic for about 8 years and enjoyed them for the cleaner tones, but latley I'm playing an amp with more gain. It's an Orange Dark Terror and I set it on the crunchy side, but not so crunch that we are into Metal music. The Seths measured 7.2 and 8.2 when my tech put them in for me back then. Comparing them to the Burstbucker 1, 2 in my other Lester, I'd say I prefer the crunch from those over my Seths. Would the Whole Lotta' Humbucker pair get my Classic more crunch with some body to it? Any Duncan Seth Lover owners find themselves in the same situation and made a pickup swap that improved the gain strength, yet kept it clear amd defined?

the wlh are hotter for sure, but not sure how crunchy they are. if you want low output crunch, try the jazz. im not really a high gain guy so id wait for others to chime in

I have the WLHs in my LP Traditional. I have said it many times the WLH set makes a Les Paul sound like what you imagine a Les Paul sounds like. I can play anything from Jazz to Hardcore on that guitar and have. The bridge is subtle enough for classic rock but will hang with a high-gain amp with the best of pickups. The neck has a lot of bloom great for cleaner styles like blues and jazz, however, it takes to overdrive well and is phenomenal for soloing. They are a very full well-balanced set.
