Seth Lovers in LP Studio

I installed a set of Seth Lovers in my LP Studio. Real sweet pickups. They not only sound great clean, they sound great overdriven too. They seem to start getting that dirty tone at lower volumes than other humbuckers I've tried. They have something to their tone that other humbuckers that I've tried don't have. I've read other posts that describe them as having a hollow sound or having an airy sound. However you want to describe it I believe it's because the covers are not waxed potted. Great pickups and very versatile. I'm thinking about putting a set in my 335.

I had a set in a 335 once, and the neck in my Les Paul and they sounded Godly. I don't think I'd want one in my Les Paul bridge though, I like a little more umph and don't want the feedback since I like to play with q lot of gain.

A lot of the tone of a Seth does come from it not being potted IMO but I never get along with the Seth's...they are cool pickups but I like the Antiquity's MUCH better!

Nice LP BTW, and I LOVE that 335!
