CC Vrs Seth....ok I made a decision a while ago that the JB must be removed from my les paulish agile 3500 which has mahogony body, ebony fretboard and maple cap. I like the jazz in the neck, but the JB just doesn't have the warmth. I asked many questions here regarding the different customs about a week or so ago and came up with the CC as the frontrunner for the JB replacement. But now looking at the boards i'm seeing so many good things bout the seth I'm considering that instead. I'd like some opinions on why you folks think one would be better paired with a jazz neck in a les paulish guitar with a bit of extra brightness (I'm told due to the ebony fretboard) and also the real world difference between the two. cause from reading descriptions it seems to me that they are kinda similar sounding????? but the CC is more high output? which means (yea im still a newbie) that if i put the cc vrs the seth in the same guitar with the same gear the CC would actually sound louder? and is that a good or bad thing coupled with a lower output pickup like the jazz???? Are these question marks annoying to you too????? thanks all and please remember the guitar type, that I already have a jazz neck, and the sound (classic rock, hard rock, blues) that im interested in. lastly thought I like the jazz neck if anyone has a strong opinion as to why a different neck would go better with either the CC or the Seth bridge, I'd be opened to at least test swapping that one out too on a trial basis. Again thanks in advance...
