The alnico 4 Fralin Unbuckers would be more open than the alnico 2 Seth Lovers and have more clarity, be brighter, and have less mid range.
However, the Seth Lover sounds more like a vintage Gibson paf, although the neck Seth is underwound compared to a vintage Gibson paf, which also makes it clearer and more open than most vintage pafs.
If you could go back in time and compare, I think the bridge Seth Lover would be identical to a well above average vintage '57 and '58 Gibson paf.
